Ok, ok, we get it. The banana bread has become something we have seen way too often during quarantine, everybody all of a sudden became a famous baker with their banana bread recipe, but let us tell you this: Master the basics! That's what we believe in and what we live by. Therefore we have decided to teach you a basic bi**h recipe, so you can join the hype and post the sh** out of all the banana breads you will be making from now on. Oh, make sure to tell your friends about it and mentally prep them to be eating banana bread for the rest of their lives, since you will be providing them for any possible occasion, let it be birthday, karaoke evening, wedding, baby shower, and all the other life events.
Ingredients - Banana Bread /
500g Bananas (should be on the ripe side)
80g Coconut Oil
100g Greek Yoghurt
2 TBS Vanilla Extract
2 TBS Baking Powder
1. Most important, let's preheat the oven on 180°C. Mash the bananas, like you mean it. Add the coconut oil, eggs, greek yoghurt and the vanilla extract and mix everything together until you get a smooth batter.
2. Add all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl (flour, baking powder and the salt).
3. Time to add all the ingredients together. Pour everything into a baking tin, which you have previously laid out with parchment paper. 4. Now it's time for the bread to warm up in the oven. This should take about 40 minutes, during which you can read a book, have a cup of coffee or alternatively work.
5. Test with a toothpick if the inside is firm, otherwise let it bake for a little bit longer.
Finally, you don't have to bake the bread anymore from the sourdough bread starter. Time for a new skill in your bread repertoire.
We hope you are ready for your life to be changed with one of life's basic recipes!
